The 2025 Sustainable Wedding Summit was a resounding success!

Anshika is the Founder & CEO of Eternity: an event management CRM designed to be the backbone wedding industry. She has 3 years of experience within the wedding industry to help shape and evolve the way we work to align with Gen-Z and multicultural couples in particular. Shelley Bosworth

Shelley Bosworth is an International Business and Mindset Coach and keynote speaker with over 25 years of corporate leadership experience. Based in Dubai, she has since grown her practice, empowering hundreds of individuals to overcome self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and limiting beliefs. Shelley specialises in working with women who have bold goals, but real lives to master their mindset and achieve their goals in life and business. Shelley inspires audiences to take courageous action, proving that with the right mindset, success is within reach for everyone.

Sophie Brooks

Sophie is Founder of Fit for Purpose, a Certified B Corp consultancy that works with businesses to help them define, demonstrate and articulate their purpose beyond profit. Sophie is a passionate believer in the power of business to drive positive social and environmental change. As a lifelong lover of nature and wildlife, after 15 years as a successful leader in Communications, she set up as an independent environmental consultant. Following two years in house Sustainability Strategist for Microsoft UK, in 2012 she went on to gain a Distinction MSc in Climate Change & Development. From there her work expanded to include all aspects of social, environmental and economic sustainability advisory, largely for corporate clients.

Sophie will be speaking on behalf of B Lab UK at 15:55 for the session B Corp Certification: The Latest Standards & Taking the Next Step and chairing the discussion Reaching Net Zero: Accreditation, Carbon Literacy & Continuous Learning from 16:15 – 16:50. Both session will be in the Great Hall.

Charlie Burton

Charlie is the founder of The Natural Wedding Company, an eco-conscious wedding directory and blog. With 18 years’ experience, she has been a leading voice in sustainable weddings, featured in publications like Country Living, The Independent, and Wedding Magazine. Charlie is passionate about championing small businesses, encouraging transparency, and sharing genuine stories. She loves helping couples craft meaningful wedding days rooted in sustainability and personal values. Married for 14 years, mum to three, and living with a menagerie of animals, Charlie brings a grounded, relatable perspective to her work and this important conversation.

Amy Cox

Amy is the owner and director of Crockwell Farm, a longstanding wedding venue in rural Northamptonshire. Taking the reins from her parents, who were trailblazers in diversifying from agriculture to events, she has relentlessly championed sustainable practices while growing turnover. As a mum and outdoor enthusiast, Amy is passionate about preserving the natural world for generations to come and has built a team who are deeply invested in Crockwell’s values. In January 2024, Crockwell achieved accreditation with the Sustainable Wedding Alliance, solidifying its commitment to leading the industry in delivering sustainable weddings. As an SWA Ambassador, she collaborates with fellow industry leaders to ignite positive change, guiding others on their sustainability journeys and helping couples host sustainable weddings.

Claudia Fox

Claudia is the chief cake artist at Greenfox Bakery and a Sustainable Wedding Alliance Ambassador.

She was the first wedding cake maker to be accredited by the Sustainable Wedding Alliance in 2023 and ever since then, her passion and commitment to the sustainable cause has grown stronger. This led her to become a sustainability consultant specifically for the wedding industry, helping you achieve your sustainable goals.

Claudia will be leading the Getting Started in Sustainability as a Small Business or Sole Trader – What Can You Do? workshop from 14:30 – 15:25 in the Murrell Room.

Harriet Hall

Harriet is an advocate for the Carbon Literacy Project, supporting organisations and individuals on transformational climate action and learning programmes. The Carbon Literacy Project is a multi-award winning, globally unique non-profit driving low carbon culture change in all sectors. The Project provides a flexible framework for a day’s worth of learning, bespoke to the industry and location of the audience, and is the accreditation body certifying individuals and organisations as ‘Carbon Literate’. Harriet’s background is in hospitality and travel, and is particularly interested in the wedding industry since planning her own sustainable wedding 5 years ago.

Alison Hargreaves

Alison is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience delivering impactful marketing solutions for wedding venues and suppliers. As Founder and Director of six successful marketing platforms, including Guides for Brides, Beyond Weddings, The Pride Guide, and Big Day Agency, she has built a strong reputation within the wedding industry.

A recognised authority on sustainable weddings, Alison has moderated panels in the UK, Switzerland and Dubai on this topic and played a pivotal role in advising businesses on navigating the unique sustainability challenges faced by ultra-luxury weddings.

Jakob Howard

Jakob drives engagement for Net Zero collaboration with Small99.

Charlotte Mcintosh

Charlotte has worked in digital marketing and e-commerce for over 15 years, always with an eye on making things more sustainable. From reducing plastic packaging to prioritising products made with recycled materials, she’s always cared about the environmental impact of the supply chain.

Since joining Krystal two years ago, Charlotte’s perspective expanded to include the often-overlooked issue of digital emissions. This eye-opening discovery has inspired her to keep learning and to share what she’s discovered so far. Charlotte loves combining creative marketing with a focus on making a positive impact and helping bridge the gap between digital innovation and environmental responsibility.

Becca Pountney

Becca Pountney is the UK’s leading wedding industry marketing expert. Using her experience from owning her own wedding business combined with her previous career in media working for Endemol, BBC and Heart Radio, Becca now teaches business owners how to go from feeling invisible to totally irresistible and fully booked in their wedding business in her clear, down to earth, practical style.

Becca is no stranger to the events industry having built an award winning wedding blog and consultancy business from the ground up in 2016.

Becca is known for transforming the fortunes of businesses within the highly competitive wedding and events sector and has worked with over 1000 businesses through her courses, membership and speaking.

Pamela Rae-Welsh

Pamela Rae-Welsh is the founder and Creative Director of Worsley Creative, a full-service marketing agency established in 2018. With a passion for supporting purpose-led businesses, Pamela specialises in crafting tailored digital marketing strategies that enhance online visibility and brand presence. Known for her no-jargon, no-fluff approach, she focuses on delivering practical, results-driven solutions. Under her leadership, Worsley Creative has grown into a thriving agency. Fleur Record Smith

Fleur is the founder of wedding venue Hayne House. Over the past few years, she has been passionate about driving change in the wedding industry, working to align her personal values on sustainability with her vision for the venue and industry, bringing as many as possible along with her on the journey. She has been an ambassador for the SWA since its inception. Today, Hayne House is a B Corp and Fleur, after studying for her Masters in Sustainability, is also a sustainability consultant to support others on the journey.

Fleur will be leading the Building Biodiversity at Your Venue workshop from 12:00 – 12:50 in the Murrell Room.

Hannah Robinson

Hannah looks after BMA House as the Venue Manager. Hannah overseas the running of BMA House as a venue, managing all the teams that help deliver weddings and events to an exceptional standard. Hannah creates and drives the strategy of BMA House forward, and champions their sustainable credentials. Hannah works alongside the teams to develop best practices and keep BMA House at the forefront of everyone’s mind as a sustainable venue, whilst continuing to adapt to trends, legislation and the future of sustainable weddings and events.

Michelle Taylor

Michelle Taylor spent over 30 years as as a police officer in various forces in England before she finally retired in 2015, having completed the course in Marriage and Family Celebrancy. Taking time to build up her celebrancy business whilst she was still working proved invaluable and she hit the ground running, rapidly building up a reputation for fun, quirky loud and colourful ceremonies.

Being able to celebrate the rich diversity of love and relationships is Michelle’s fundamental drive when it comes to creating and delivering her own ceremonies and she is very excited to be able to pass this passion on to her fellow celebrants, both existing and new trained.

Michelle is in charge of the Continuing Professional Development programme for Fellowship of Professional Celebrants (FPC) wedding celebrants for a number of years.

Michelle will be leading the Equality & Diversity in the Wedding Industry workshop from 14:30 – 15:25 in the Anderson & Barnes Room.
