For two years, the Summit has taken on a pillar of sustainability. First people. Then planet. In January 2027, we complete the picture with the one we most often avoid — profit.
When we announced the theme for the Sustainable Wedding Summit 2027, the reaction was telling. Some people loved it. Some did a double-take. Profit? At a sustainability summit?
We understand. For years, “profit” and “purpose” have been set up as opposites — as if caring about the planet and the people on it means quietly accepting that you’ll never make real money, and as if making real money means you can’t care.
We don’t accept that. And neither should you.
The third pillar
Sustainability rests on three pillars: people, planet and profit — all of them underpinned by purpose. Skip any one and the whole thing wobbles.
A business that protects the planet but can’t pay its staff isn’t sustainable. A business that looks after its people but runs out of cash isn’t sustainable either. A sustainable business is one that’s financially resilient and responsible — a business that can afford to keep its promises for years to come.
That’s why the 2027 Summit is dedicated to the money side of sustainable business: not money as greed, but money as the engine that keeps your values running.
What we’ll cover
The day is built around the questions sustainable wedding businesses actually face — and every session is designed to send you home with actions, not just ideas.
You’ll look at the money that’s working in the background: your pensions, savings, banking and insurance, and how to make sure the money that keeps your business alive is aligned with the world you want to build. You’ll dig into pricing that reflects your true value — and that covers your own wage, your team and your suppliers. You’ll explore your supply chain to find savings that don’t come at the planet’s expense. And you’ll get sector-specific roundtables for venues, florists and farmers, stylists, and planners, where you’ll work through the challenges in your own corner of the industry.
No sitting and listening. Every workshop ends with clear actions to take in the session or an action plan to start straight away.
The details
The Sustainable Wedding Summit 2027 runs from 8am to 8pm on Monday 25 January 2027 at Kings Place, London. The day opens with a member-only networking breakfast, includes lunch, refreshments and evening food, and closes with an after-party where we celebrate the year’s achievements together. Every session is included in your ticket.
We cap attendance at 120 — so the workshops stay interactive and the roundtables stay intimate. When we’re full, we’re full.
