The Green Aisle is a bridal and prom boutique that specialises in pre-loved and ex-sample dresses and accessories. The idea was born after owner, Amanda, was supporting her future daughter in law to find dresses for her upcoming wedding and Amanda discovered the cost of buying dresses and the impact on the environment of manufacturing dresses. With the cost of living crisis and environmental damage, Amanda decided to help people save money on wedding and prom wear and also help the environment in the process.

Amanda is passionate about sustainability and has sourced over 90% of the stock, fixtures, fittings and merchandise second hand or from sustainable sources. For example, her business cards and posters are all printed on recycled paper, natural confetti comes in biodegradable bags and not to mention the abundance of dresses that are saved from landfill or from sitting in a wardrobe, allowing someone else to enjoy the dress for their wedding.

Moving forward, Amanda will be sourcing any new stock from the local community and hopes to donate a prom dress to help someone that would have otherwise not been able to afford one.
